Thus, meticulously counting all emblem partakers is not necessary as this does not represent the number of anointed ones on earth. Our upcoming 2013 Yearbook will reflect these changes in understanding and cease publishing the number of partakers.

1-Does not represent the number of anointed ones on earth. Did they just admit that either they don’t know who’s really anointed or how many are? If anointed are all witlesses and the GB is 'guided by Holy Spirit" then shouldn’t they know? That is unless anointed aren't (all) witlesses and the GB isn't 'guided by Holy Spirit". OH SNAP!
2-Meticulously counting all emblem partakers is not necessary. The letter doesn’t state they aren’t going to try and keep track, it just says they aren’t going to PUBLISH those numbers. In other words, we’re going to count, just not meticulously, and in doing so we aren’t going to let R&F know about the numbers anymore so if we’re asked we can come up with a number to suite our needs. SO THERE!

with all the bad things happening now where would be the safest place to be, for myself and and famiy i would expect that would be somewhere in the far east high above the food plain, people there also have much more repect for human life and do not leave their elders to die alone without any respect and have a much nicer famiy society and seem to be much more organised as to their affairs.. .

If you really believe in God, than there ain't nowhere you can hide.
If you're trying to hide from the bad things, don't run buy a gun.
If you're trying to hide from witlesses, just move out to the country and put up an ass-load of no trespassing & no JW signs. (It's illegal in the US to enter a private property with a no trespassing sign and anyone who does can be arrested.)
If you did something really bad and you're running from the law, you're on your own; I got my own problems and being an accessory ain’t gonna be one.

According to wash-towel logic:
1-Jayhoover's sense of time differs from ours, so "not excessively long" is a completely separate time frame for us puny humans.
2-Lives overlapping has no discernable end (or beginning).
By this you could rationalize the entire human race as being one big ass "generation".

I too wondered how many couples have remained “faithful” before marriage, or any other time. I’ve also wondered how stupid do you have to be to confess before your wedding, unless it bothers you or your partners babble trained conscience, who cares! (I think some of the less than chaste one's who got away with it, either knew they weren't going to get caught or were the child of an elite member, so even if they did get caught it wouldn't matter.) Besides what difference does it make? NONE! You’re getting married anyway.
I believe attraction and compatibility are crucial and any relations before marriage are a personal choice and none of anyone else's business; if I’m wrong than I have to answer for that, otherwise KISS OFF!

at the meeting today the wt had a paragraph about certain ones breaking away from the church because the church's doctrines didn't match the bible, some were excommunicated, some imprisoned, some executed.. of course they were held up to be lovers of god, true christians... if i was to do the same thing i would be held up as an apostate.... and excommunicated...... i wish sometimes i had the same courage as those ones.....

The entire study venerated an ideal that, by wash-towel standards, we aren’t supposed to follow.
The unfortunate thing is most witlesses won’t see the self-condemnation.

Slavery indeed, the WTBT$ have guidelines all the way down to the minutest member (what says you're in, out or active); if you don't like it you're scourged and disciplined (marked, disfellowsipped and/or shunned).

Even as a child the flood seemed to me like a whimsical but illogical story.
If you get pushy with a witless, asking too many logical questions, they'll just say Jehovah and Jesus said it happened so it did.
